Sooo- I decided to get outside with my camera after our last storm to try and capture some of the beauty that winters can bring. If you know me, you know that I do not fancy myself a landscape photographer. I like people. I like learning about them, capturing their personalities.
I often struggle with landscapes because I guess I don’t feel that I capture the “personality” of them. I have been studying photos of this type that I do like and this was a perfect opportunity to see if I had learned anything.
Here are a few that I found acceptable, not Ansel Adams beautiful, but good enough to put myself out there. I published them on various social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). So you can imagine how thrilled I was when Visit Bucks County PA asked permission to publish them on their sites!
As I am writing this we are in the middle of our 3rd -or is it 4th- major snow storm of the season. I am going out again during or after this storm, because being an optimist, I am hoping this is the last snow of the season!
Be safe and keep warm.
