During this crazy time we’re experiencing in our world, I just wanted to reach out and ask, how are YOU doing?
Have you settled into a new rhythm of life or are you still figuring it out?
Are you taking care of yourself? Getting in some exercise and sunshine? Eating well? Taking medications and supplements?
What are you most looking forward to when the pandemic is over?
What little blessings are you discovering during this time of life?

Here are a few easy reads that speak to many of the roles we are playing - mom, wife, school teacher, babysitter, cook, housekeeper, chief disinfection coordinator, not to mention business owner.
Stay home.
Stay safe.
Don’t forget to take a few minutes FOR YOU.

For you:
Yes, we’re working from home, but we are also, on camera- with the zoom meetings and the coffee chats and the virtual family get togethers. And I don’t know about you, but it’s hard for me to not notice me on the screen.
And even though we are home, we may not be getting much restful sleep. So how can we look more awake and get rid of dark circles under the eyes?

For business:
Are you doing a little more "on camera" work than you thought you would be doing these days?
Here are some tips for business on top outfits that look great.

For health:
Surviving business from home: What’s with the snacking?
When I was working in corporate, most of my eating was in the company cafeteria which was only serving at certain times. Eating in the cafeteria with colleagues, you actually notice what (and how much) you are eating because you are not multi-tasking by eating at the computer or with your nose in the phone.
Studies show that if you eat while you are doing something else, your brain doesn’t realize that you are eating and it never registers- so you are continually “hungry”.
So your hand reaches out 10, 15, 20 times until that family size package of chips, or chocolate. And suddenly – it’s empty. And you still don’t feel satisfied.
TIPS:
• Even if it’s only for 10 minutes – move away from the desk AND your phone- and enjoy your meal. If you have to, take 10 minutes to eat and 10 minutes to check social media- but DON’T multitask.
• Put your afternoon snack on the side of your computer that handles the mouse. WHY? Because it makes it harder to reach for the snack and still work. And the effort that it takes to grab the snack, and then wipe your hands will register in your brain and slow you down.

For family:
Are you taking time and sorting through old photos, and seeing yourself in the photos of your relatives? Or compiling the memories of the kiddos as they grew up?
And now, you are feeling overwhelmed, not knowing what to do with them. Come up with themes and make them into books- here’s some ideas.
Stay home.
Stay safe.
Don’t forget to take a few minutes FOR YOU.
