Soooo...how’s it going? You know, beyond the heartbreak and the chaos and the Groundhog Day of the situation we’re currently living in. How’s your heart? What are you honoring these days? (Hit reply and let me know. I'd love to hear.)
In the book Braving the Wilderness Brene' Brown says that in order to make our world a more connected place and to be more wholehearted as human beings, we must speak truth to bullshit. There is a lot of misinformation and noise swirling around us about our current circumstances that we must counteract.
For example, you don't need to be super productive right now. You don't need to worry about the fat shaming post that warns you not to gain the pandemic 15... What we are experiencing right now is hard. Our bodies are responding to it, our mental health is being impacted by it and there is NO judgement in that. Now is not the time to compare yourself to others it is time to double down on knowing yourself and what YOU need.
Give yourself some grace. You shouldn’t expect to do it all and do it alone.

Create a Burnout Barrier
While having the choice to work from home may sometimes be welcome, being forced to work from home, with no relief, no direct contact with others, no choice is incredibly stressful.
There is a constant distraction and other roles to fulfill like teacher, short order cook, and referee. What used to be manageable juggling has turned into swimming in a pool of distraction and anxiety with no end in sight.
See how you can control what you can in this article from Lauren Yellin Weinberg of Lasting Change Wellness.
