Usually, when things get old, they tend to have less value, be it a car, clothes, furniture. But Art - it APPRECIATES IN VALUE. Especially if that art is of your family. A beautiful family portrait I believe is personal art.
If you think about it, what is the value of your memory? What is the worth of your heritage, of having everyone you are closely related to - be together in a portrait?
A few months ago a family commissioned me to create, actually re-create, a portrait. You see, 9 month old Maggie looked just like her grandmother did at the same age. Jen knew that because she had a photo of her mother at 9 months. It was a photo she had often looked at when she was a little girl. Wouldn’t it be great if we could create a similar photo of Maggie to highlight that family resemblance? Wouldn’t there be great value in such a portrait for the generations past and future? To Jen, her mom, and Maggie when she is older, it will be priceless.

That is just one reason why having a family portrait is so important.
I hear the excuses of “we are too busy” and “I want to lose x number of pounds first”. We never know when it will be too late to get that all important family portrait. Fortunately, there are many of you who KNOW the value of a beautiful family portrait and make it happen giving families a visual reminder of their importance of one to another….forever.
This Mother’s Day put aside those excuses and capture your loved ones, including yourself. Step out of your comfort zone -- one day looking back, you will be glad you did. Be proud of these photographs, print them, put them on the walls, where you can see and enjoy them every day.
Especially, if your grandchild looks like you did – and you can capture that for their grandchild.
Don’t wait, call now to set up that family portrait, compare today’s faces to those of the past. A portrait of you is not only for you- it’s for the future. Everyone needs a sense of heritage.
It's about shining from the inside.
