FABULOUS 50 Project |No 2 | Meet Cheri
TI’m excited to present to you Cherie one of my Fabulous 50!
Cherie, like many of us, has avoided being in front of the camera. Consequently, she hasn’t existed in photos for the last “couple of decades”.
Now 59, Cherie has left corporate America and is in the fledgling stage of starting her own legal practice focused on consulting for small businesses and entrepreneurs, helping you avoid the most common legal mistakes made by entrepreneurs and making sure you have all the things in place to legally project your business.
Turning 50 was “wonderful” according to Cherie who spent that birthday with a girls weekend in Cape May. One reason she wanted to be a part of this project was to show that women over 50 are not invisible, she, as one of them, still has a lot to give.
This photo session was all about her. Cherie was pampered with professional hair and makeup and wardrobe styling before capturing these gorgeous photos of her.
Here are some of the special images we created.
Are you a fabulous woman over 50? I invite you to participate in the 50 over 50 Project. This is your time to be seen, be heard and be celebrated! Apply today!

FOR YOU:
Before Carrie was published, King had been rejected 30 times — devastating for a writer as educated and talented as he was. Rumor has it, his wife encouraged him to try one more editor, a small bit of encouragement that ultimately helped launch King’s career.
There’s no way around it: Rejection stings. Whether you didn’t land the job offer you were banking on or the proposal you worked on for months wasn’t accepted, being rejected can feel profoundly personal.

FOR BUSINESS:
One person saying something negative doesn’t mean your work is bad. Especially when it’s an isolated incident in a sea of great feedback and happy clients. Outliers are usually more a reflection on the person giving the “advice” than it is on you. Sometimes you just have to ease up on yourself and move on.

FOR FAMILY:
It doesn’t matter who’s on the other end of your frowning face — best friend, parent, coworker, in law, or romantic partner — arguments happen and that’s OK.
It’s impossible to prevent disagreements from occurring altogether, but it is possible to navigate the situation in a way that allows the relationship to grow
The problem, of course, is that emotions and built-up frustration can complicate the situation.
